Club opening hours
The Club premises are open from:
Mon. to Sat.1000 - 2359 (bar open from 1100)
Sun. 1200 - 2359
Before 1000 hours each day, access is available to Reception, the toilets and the ClubRoom - thereafter all areas are open.
Bar opening hours and permanent staff
The Club Manager is Vanessa Mahy.The Bar Staff or Members in the Bar can be contacted on telephone 01481-725342.
Tea, coffee and soft drinks are served from 1000 daily.
Every Friday evening at the Club there is a " Happy Hour " from 1730 to 1830 hours when drinks can be purchased at £1.50 each and there is normally a Draw of some kind.
Some Fridays there is also a gourmet evening which is advertised weekly on the notice board.
Office hours and StaffThe Club Secretary is Stephen Searle (Membership and Room bookings) and the Finance Secretary is Pat Matthews.
The office takes care of all the Club's administration and daily management. Any queries you have should be directed to them. The Offices are normally staffed from 0900 -1200 each day Monday to Friday and on Saturday from1000 hours.

Catering Facilities
A bar meal lunch service is provided daily,
Monday to Saturday, between noon and
1400 hours.
There are also meals served on some Friday nights, check the noticeboard for details.
The menu is varied, featuring mainly fresh food, and the quality is excellent. |
Club Premises
The Club has two Bars, one of which will always be available, during permitted hours, for the exclusive use of Club Members, their guests and visiting yachtsmen.
The main bar on the top floor, "The Quarterdeck", is limited to use by adult Members (and 16 to 18 year olds providing they are accompanied by a parent or guardian.) A balcony with views over Havelet Bay, Town and the Pool adjoins the Main Bar
The Viewing Gallery on the top floor is usable by all Members and supervised children
The Commodore's Room is downstairs and is for use as the restaurant.
The "Club Room" is on the ground floor to the south and is used for Committee meetings, functions and parties. Younger Members often use this room - if, however, small children are in this area, they must be supervised.The premises also include Ladies and Gents Toilet and Shower/Change facilities, a disabled toilet and a baby change unit.There is terrestrial TV all the main areas, however, the Viewing Area TV is normally kept just for the weather forecast. Members can request exclusive use of some of the Club's facilities for private functions. Members should contact the Club Secretary to book such an event, which may use the ClubRoom, or one of the two bars.

The Commodore's Bar can seat up to 30 for a sit down meal,
a few more for a standing Buffet.

The Main Bar can seat 60 - 65 for a sit down meal and, again, more for a standing Buffet. Normally Members will not be charged for room hire providing the Club supplies the drinks and /or the food.
A list of non-member guests attending such functions will be required in advance to meet the Club's licensing requirements.

The Club carries a stock of regalia embroidered with the Club Burgee.
Rugby Shirts (Navy or Green / £22.50); Polo Shirts (Navy or White / £12.00 to £13.50);
Baseball Caps (Various colours plus denim / £6.00 to £6.50);
Woolly Hats (various colours / £7.00);
Club Ties (Polyester or Silk / £6.50 or £12.50)
